'Insurgent' Releasing Full Trailer On Friday But New Teaser Gives Fans An Early Glimpse

The first, full trailer for Insurgent hit the web on Friday with the first footage from the film showing off the massive scale for the movie. The film is directed by Robert Schwentke, who replaces Neil Burger.

The trailer gives a wider picture of what fans can expect from the new installment with images of Tris (Woodley), Four (Theo James), and Caleb (Ansel Elgort) on the run from Jeanine (Kate Winslet) and a box that one specific person can open. The action is heightened with multiple scenes of the group fighting others with guns and an almost spy, espionage feel to some parts.

More Theo James & Display of The Action Coming In Next 'Insurgent' Trailer

While there is still a lot left to discuss, the new trailer does show that more action is on the way for the next installment and Tris will be facing an even bigger challenge than before. It also showed that Peter (Miles Teller) is working with Jeanine and offered the first look at Four's mother (played by Naomi Watts) and the Factionless.

In Insurgent, Tris and Four are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine, the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris's family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them.

Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris, with Four at her side, faces one impossible challenge after another as they unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the future of their world.

The movie comes out on March 20, 2015.
