NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey were finally able to bury their differences (if only for a moment) on Sunday's episode of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The former friends continued their sit-down in the new episode. Bailey told Leakes she decided to separate herself from her because she felt there was a "respect level" that was crossed several times.

Leakes reminded her that they were friends. So if she felt disrespected, she should have told her. Still, Leakes did apologize for the part she played in breaking up their friendship.

"I would have changed whatever it was so that we could have continued our friendship."

Bailey did not seem to have much sympathy for Leakes at first and later told cameras that "Leakes hates to be called out."

However, she was open to continuing their friendship and asked Leakes if she felt they had gone too far to the left to reunite.

"I just wanna continue to be friends and continue to support each other like we used to."

But Leakes said she simply wanted to "move on."

They ended their meeting with a hug. Bailey said the was "optimistic" about their friendship and even admitted to missing her old friend.

But the Glee star seemed to think she had been burned too many times to rekindle her relationship.

"When someone hurts me, I have a very difficult time letting them close to me again. I'm just telling you how NeNe Leakes is. I never make the same mistake twice."

While neither of the ladies said much about their peacemaking scene on the show, Bailey's new friend Moore had lots to say about Leakes.

She wrote tweeted live during the episode Sunday and wrote, "Nene only knows how to be a loud mouth brash bully #RHOA she lost a good friend Bc she tried to control her...When someone has had enough they have had enough. Wow look who is playing victim now unbelievable".

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
