On Nashville, Will and Layla have been caught in a fake marriage for while leaving speculation on how that's about to go down when the series returns.

On Tuesday, E! News updated its spoiler chat where they mentioned that this marriage is going to end in an official way.

"Will and Layla's fake marriage? It's totally O-V-E-R!" the site wrote. "When Nashville returns in the new year, expect to see the couple's fake marriage end in a real divorce."

This may not come off as big surprise for anyone, but it causes speculation if either of them will be able to move on easily from this life without each other.

Some other relationships to focus on in the new year will especially come in the love triangle that includes Rayna, Luke and Deacon. Rayna did not end up marrying Luke and based on the promo for the new episodes, this doesn't look like it'll end well.

The promo shows Rayna telling reporters that even though she and Luke didn't continue with their love story, they'll hopefully remain friends. She may be hopeful about this, but Luke probably won't. There is going to be a moment where Rayna stops by to see Deacon since there's a good chance that she has feelings for him that she might want to explore further.
