The 100's midseason finale will have long lasting repercussions, especially for Clarke Griffin.

If you have yet to watch "Spacewalker," stop reading now. If you already know the shocking ending, wipe away those tears and proceed.

Finn's (Thomas McDonell) guilt led him to surrender to the Grounders, but the death they planned for him was too horrible for Clarke (Eliza Taylor) to contemplate. No one wants to see his or her one true love flambéed and mutilated, so the burgeoning leader knifed the teen instead.

While Clarke killed off one of her own out of mercy, she won't quickly recover from the bloody deed.

"This is going to deeply affect her for a long time moving forward. In her mind, she has killed her one true love and I don't think that she's ever going to really fully bounce back from it," Taylor explained to E! Online. "It's definitely going to take her into a darker frame of mind."

However, everyone now knows that Clarke has more guts and integrity than anyone else in Camp Jaha.

"That does make her evolution into becoming a real leader very interesting," Taylor said. "She's finally able to shut off her emotions and really focus on the task at hand."
