According to Us Weekly on Thursday, Aniston opened up about her exercise routine and how she likes to keep fit, just for her sanity.

She said during an interview on The Dr. Oz Show, "It's interesting when you stop exercising. It really was interesting how my serotonin levels went down. My stamina was shot. I was cranky. I was irritable. I'm usually really not any of those things. I found myself short. I was hungry like crazy."

She added, "You realize exercise is just so important to our soul. Not just being able to fit into skinny jeans, to your state of mind, your soul, all of that. I surrendered into it. I actually didn't fight it. I didn't think oh this is horrible. It was such a part of what I enjoyed about mining this character."

Meanwhile, Aniston has revealed that rumors of her putting her career in front of motherhood have been hurtful for her.

According to The Daily Mail on Monday, she said, "I don't like the pressure that people put on me, on women, that you've failed yourself as a female because you haven't procreated."

She added, "I don't think it's far. You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn't mean that you aren't mothering - dogs, friends, family, children."

What's more, Aniston says that speculation that she's put her Hollywood career over motherhood has been incredibly hurtful for the star.

Aniston added, "Oh, God, so many painful things. The accusation that I've put my career before the want, the desire to be a mother. This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don't want to be a mother, and how selfish that is. I have a lot of friends who decided not to have children, who can't have children, or are trying but are having a difficult time. There's all sorts of reasons why children aren't in people's lives, and no one has the right to assume."
