When Azealia Banks stopped by Hot 97 to sit down with Ebro, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg of "Ebro in the AM," they discussed the underlying current of the gentrification of hip hop. The viral interview touched a nerve with many in the music industry, as the conversation exposed the underlying current of the gentrification of hip hop- with acts like Iggy Azalea and Macklemore as their main examples.

While artists like Solange Knowles and Q-Tip backed Azealia on her feelings of stolen black culture, Iggy Azalea thought differently. She took her feelings to Twitter and received mix reactions for her thoughts:

Many of her fans supported her feelings go angst and frustration toward Azealia Banks' somewhat harsh- but profound- thoughts, while others knew that she would never quite understand what Azealia Banks meant.

Still, the most surprising plot twist from the outcome of this interview has nothing to do with either artist. The popular hackers Anonymous, which seemed to have once been associated with the larger @YourAnonNews community, threatened to release pictures of Iggy's sex tape if she did not apologize for her response to Azaelia Banks.

"You are guilty of misappropriating black culture, insulting peaceful protesters, and making light of Eric Garner's death. @IGGYAZALEA," the faceless group posted on Friday night. Anonymous is asking Azalea to "release a statement apologizing to @AzealiaBanks and the protesters in NYC" within 48 hours, or else proof of her X-rated tape will be released.

Though they later detailed the tweets, and seem to have had their account suspended, they gave Iggy 48 hours to respond. She did not comply or respond.

The larger Anonymous twitter account also declared a separation from them on Twitter after they went after Iggy on social media.
