This is very busy holiday season for the members of pop sensation group One Direction.

One Direction Performs On SNL

Over the weekend, the group, comprised of Niial Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, visited Rockefeller Plaza to join Saturday Night Live for the third time.

The group performed two of their hit singles off of their fourth studio album Four. The first song they performed was 'Night Changes' and they choose 'Ready To Run' to conclude the show.

By the sound of the studio audience, it's safe to say the boys' did not disappoint.

In addition to their two musical performances, the boys' also graced the stage for a skit.

The five guys joined the stage for the 'Girlfriends Talk Show' skit starring Aidy Bryant, Cecily Strong and the host, Amy Adams.

On Tuesday, USA Today reported that aside from the boys' performing on SNL, they also partnered with NBC for their very first TV special.

The show, One Direction: The TV special, featured behind the scenes documentary footage from their South American tour and additional footage of 1D in the studio.

The TV special also featured a Christmas special including the famous 'Shrek The Halls."

While the year is slowly winding down, the boys already have a lot scheduled for the new year.

One Direction recently announced that they will be embarking upon a new tour and they also revealed that they would be working on a new album.

1D fans are definitely in for a big treat in the new year.
