In a recent interview, showrunner Marc Guggenheim dished about the Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) reaction to Oliver's death in the upcoming episode of Arrow.

Roy Harper To Replace Oliver As Lead In Arrow?

TVLine reports, as predicted, the episode will be very emotional and will take its toll on Felicity. It will be especially dramatic as Oliver confessed his love for her while dying, and this season began with hope for the coupe in general.

Speaking about episode 10 to the publication Rickards had previously revealed that she just wrapped filming "a sad moment" which was draining for her. Guggenheim also spoke about David Ramsey's character breaking down in the episode, and how that would be exceptionally heart rending for many fans. Guggeneheim said that the scene Ramsey "shot what I would describe as his most emotional scene.... David breaks your heart with his performance."

Thea And Felicity Will Be "Sharing A Lot Of Screen Time" In Second Half Of Season 3 Of Arrow

There has been a lot of curiousity surrounding the return of the second half of season 3 of Arrow after the hiatus.

Following the death of Oliver Queen in the mid-season finale of Arrow, actor Stephen Amell took to Facebook to allay fans' concerns about the future of the show and what they can expect from the rest of season 3.

His post was reassuring for fans who seemed to be very dismayed by Oliver's sudden death, and Amell also promised them that the series would only impress them.

Here's his post:

"Facebook. Thank you so much for the enthusiasm spilling out of tonight's fall finale. I've never had anywhere near this amount of feedback.

"Despite the title, our show is bigger than any one character. We're going to prove that to you. Sit tight... January will be here in no time."

The promo for the upcoming episode, set to air after a short hiatus in January, was also recently revealed. In the promo somebody is heard saying Oliver is dead, as the camera pans atop the mountain top, where the duel between Ghul and Oliver took place, showing Oliver's limp body on a rock. That's about all the preview gives away about what fans can expect from the next episode, titled Left Behind, which is to air on January 21.

But while this seems to be the reality of the hour, it does not necessarily mean that Oliver is gone for good. As has been suggested by a Screen Rant report, the character could very well be resuscitated, noting it is a normal occurence in comic books. The piece goes on to specifics which could bring Oliver back to life like the immortalising Lazarus Pit, we were made aware of in the previous episode. The pit is also known to heal deadly wounds, perhaps even bring people back from the dead.
