A year after separating from husband Mike Comrie, Hilary Duff looks like she's attempting to make the most of single parenthood.

On Saturday, Daily Mail posted new photos of Duff single-handedly mastering the streets of Los Angeles with two cups, several bags and her two-year-old.

The 27-year-old was seen at La Conversation Cafe in West Hollywood. She was wearing a casual, tan v-neck , a tan sweater, skinny, ripped black jeans and pair of black plimsolls.

Her blonde hair was down and she wore subtle makeup with a nude lip color. She accessorized with a taupe, leather tote and carried her son's blue, polka dot backpack.

Luca was wearing a grey and black long-sleeve shirt with black pants and black and yellow sneakers.

After leaving the cafe, the two were seen meeting up with Comrie to let him have some daddy-son time.

Duff held her hand on her hip as Comrie loaded his Mercedes SUV with Luca' belongings. After saying goodbye and leaving, the two were seen in a park playing with sticks. Comrie held a coffee while wearing tan pants, a white t-shirts, a grey sweater and a grey hat.

Comrie appeared to be taking a photo of Luca as he played in the grass with a soccer ball in a green field.

Though the two separated a year ago, they remain close for the sake of their son.

In an interview with Health Duff admitted that the two still love each other.

"We have a two-year-old together. We love each other. Obviously it wasn't a rash decision that we made. We really are just trying to figure out how we are the most happy -- whether together or apart -- and we're doing it as lovingly as possible," Duff said.
