Cuoco-Sweeting recently spoke with RedBook about a variety of topics, including why she likes the idea of being a housewife whenever she's at home.

"Is it bad if I say no?" she replied, when asked if she considers herself a feminist. "It's not really something I think about. Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around ... I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality."

She noted that she cooks for husband Ryan Sweeting "five nights a week" which she loves because it makes her feel like a housewife. She observed that she is so in control when she is working on The Big Bang Theory that she enjoys coming home and "serving him."

Cuoco-Sweeting is one of the highest-paid actresses on television right now, raking in $1 million per episode of The Big Bang Theory. She said that it "brings tears to my eyes" that she is now able to take care of her parents the way they took care of her so many years ago when they were helping her audition for parts in Hollywood.

Now in her eighth year working with The Big Bang Theory, she continues to have a steady job with a contract that lasts until season 10.

Meanwhile, The Big Bang Theory returns on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
