Fans have been without their weekly dose of Amish Mafia for nearly a year, but may not have to wait too much longer to see the war between Lebanon Levi and Merlin Miller continue.

Esther Schmucker Reveals Her Post-Reality Show Plans

After the show's third season came to an abrupt end last March and the cast refused to continue filming, it appeared the show had officially ended-until news was finally confirmed that most of the cast would be returning to film again last October. Now, fans are patiently awaiting news of the fourth season's premiere-which may be coming sooner than expected.

In a Dec. 29 post to his Facebook page, Alan Beiler, who missed out on much of the third season because it was filmed while he completed a prison sentence, appeared to drop a hint that season four would soon be underway and airing for fans-as reruns of the show's old episodes finally began to air again.

Lebanon Levi Taking On Governor of Pennsylvania?

"Amish Mafia reruns on Discovery starting at 9 am tomorrow don't forget to tune in," Beiler wrote on his page.

The show was previously reported to be returning in mid-winter, but will be extraordinarily different from the past three seasons. While new faces will be a part of the show, three of the past core members of the show won't be-Esther and John Schmucker, and Jolin Zimmerman.

In addition, while there is expected to still be some issues between Merlin and Levi, the show will also shift a lot of its focus to the negative publicity the show has received during its hiatus.

"There's going to be a lot of new twists," show attorney Steven Breit previously said. "We're going to tackle the issue of negativity by not only Mary Haverstick, but also from the tourist bureau as well s the negativity displayed by Lancaster Newspapers."

"We're bringing in fresh faces with new ideas, all based on the realities surrounding the Amish Mafia," he added. "With all the negative publicity that has come about and with all the emotions that have surrounded this reality production, we just couldn't walk away from it."
