Blake Shelton's reputation might not be as boozy as he thinks.

Blake Shelton Song Sparks Airline Incident

On Dec. 31 Rolling Stone explored alcohol and country music in 2014 and there was plenty of name dropping, though one obvious choice seemed to be omitted from the list.

While Rolling Stone talked about the booze-fueled ballads of Tim McGraw and Brad Paisley, it seems that not a single reference was made to Neon Light singer, Blake Shelton.

Find Out Why Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Might Have Celebrated New Year's Eve Separately

Both Shelton and his wife, fellow country artist Miranda Lambert, like to drink. They've never been shy about and it they've never apologized for being who they are.

"Alcohol is always in high demand around my house," noted Shelton in an interview with Extra on Dec. 9. When Lambert decided that she wanted to get in shape she specifically refused to give up alcohol for her new diet, instead focusing on smaller portions.

Then there is Shelton's Twitter account, which is on occasion pretty damning. The star references drinking on a regular basis, sometimes in jest and sometimes completely serious.

Shelton recently spent a quiet Christmas with Lambert at their home in Tishomingo, Okla. Both singers will resume touring in 2015.
