It looks like Blake Shelton will be leaving wife and fellow country artist Miranda Lambert behind for New Year's Eve this year.

Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Say Goodbye To Social Media For The Holidays

New Year's Eve With Carson Daly will air Wednesday night on NBC and The Voice host will be reuniting with this year's winning mentor, Blake Shelton.

On Tuesday The Tennessean announced that Shelton would be playing the New Year's Eve show, which means the Neon Light singer will be leaving his cozy Nashville home behind.

Miranda Lambert Album One Of The Five Best In 2014

Both Shelton and Lambert have kept a low-profile over the last week, signing off social media to enjoy a quiet Christmas together on Dec. 25. Last month they went around visiting family for Thanksgiving, but for Christmas the two stayed put and enjoyed dinner with friends and time to themselves.

It is uncertain whether or not Lambert will be accompanying Shelton for the gig, though it is unlikely as the pair don't typically travel together for shows unless they are both performing.

Other stars to appear with Carson Daly during the New Year's Eve celebration include Lady Gaga and her latest duet partner, Tony Bennett.

A Toast to 2014 will air on NBC Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. New Year's Eve With Carson Daly will follow starting at 9 p.m.
