The Librarians' Eve Baird and Flynn Carsen kicked of the series with a kiss, and soon Jake and Cassandra may follow suit.

The art historian and the synesthete quickly recovered from Cassandra's (Lindy Booth) traitorous actions in the premiere, and the duo could become even closer before the ten-episode season comes to a close.

"Stone and Cassandra have a very complicated relationship," executive producer John Rodgers told TV Line. "They are going to get closer, but how close before the end of the world (and season) is a good question."

Well, any good end of the world disaster is prime real estate for some last minute confessions. "And the Loom of Fate," The Librarians' season finale, will defiantly have that high stakes vibe.

"When Dulaque changes the course of Fate, Baird starts moving through alternate timelines, each showing the changing destinies of the Librarians - and her own inevitable doom," TNT teased.

Hopefully viewers will see Jake (Christian Kane) and Cassandra pair off in the real world, and not one of these fleeting alternate realities.
