US Weekly shared on Friday that Middleton made an appearance at The Fostering Network to shed light on the UK's leading foster care charity.

Middleton, 33, reportedly enjoyed tea and biscuits with social workers, care leavers and kids as she got an overview of the charity's work.

The Duchess joined a conversation with caretakers and young adults who had been fostered and expressed her gratitude for them having her.

"I've heard a huge amount about fostering. It's really great for me to have an opportunity to speak to you," she told them.

Middleton wore a loose dark brown Hobbs silk shirt dress and accessorized with gold earrings. The Duchess showed off her 6-month baby bump and wore her shiny hair long and straight.

The publication also reported that The Fostering Network's missing is to build the futures of the 63,000 kids who live with the 52,500 foster families across the UK.

Most of the children are at high risk and are subjected to neglect, physical and emotional abuse, and are exposed to domestic violence as well as substance abuse. The program is currently in need of at least 8,600 new foster families to provide homes and to support the teens, disabled children and biological siblings.
