It's clear that Washington is a Gladiator both on and off of the screen and she is definitely living up to her last name.
The actress stars in the ABC hit show Scandal where she plays the role of D.C. crisis manager Olivia Pope.
While the series is fictional, the show is inspired by a real woman named Judy Smith.
Sadly, the show is currently on hiatus, but the mid season opener will return in just one short week.
The Scandal mid season winter premiere will make its debut on Thursday Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
