Amber Heard supported her fiancé Johnny Depp at the London premiere of his new movie Mortdecai on Monday.

The comedy, which will be released nationwide on Jan. 23, features the 51-year-old as Charles Mortdecai. The character tries to find a stolen painting that could lead him to lost Nazi gold. 

The couple looked happier than ever as they held hands and shared several laughs on the red carpet. Depp and Heard’s appearance follows reports that the actors had slowed down their wedding plans.

"There is no rush to marry at the moment," a close friend of Depp’s told People in December. "Johnny is crazy in love with Amber, but there is turmoil in the relationship."

The source said their 23-year age difference is one of the problems. "Amber flirts and has many different kinds of relationships," the source added. "She is not really ready to settle down."

The Hollywood couple was rumored to be engaged after Heard was spotted with a diamond on her ring finger as she was leaving Ago restaurant in Los Angeles last January. Depp confirmed the engagement when he was asked to speak on the rumors while promoting Transcendence in Beijing, China last April.

"The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle," he said.
