Rhimes has been very quiet about the new episode, but last Wednesday she did tell her fans that she wrote the new episode
'Run,' the winter premiere episode, is about a week away, and the closer Jan. 29 gets, the more anxious fans become.

Rhimes' followers took to Twitter to express how the feel about the wait, and they are getting a little impatient.

While there haven't been too many details, the network released a synopsis of the new episode, and things will pick up exaclty where they left off.
Rhimes is also the creator of Greys Anatomy and How To Get Away With Murder, which are both apart of ABC's TGIT (Thank God It's Thursday).
It clear that the Shondaland shows have taken over Thursday nights and fans can't wait until their shows return.
The winter premiere of Scandal airs on Thursday, Jan 29 at 9 p.m. on ABC. Get ready gladiators.
