Depp is an accomplished guitar player and he has recorded with musical talents such as Oasis and Marilyn Manson and more recently, he performed on stage at the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood back in November.

On Tuesday, The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Depp loves playing his instruments, and he told the magazine that music is still part of his life.

While Depp is very good at what he does, he told the site, "But you won't be hearing The Johnny Depp Band. That won't ever exist."

"The kind of luxury now is, anybody with a certain amount of success, if you have a kind of musical being, you can go out and start a band and capitalize on your work in other areas," the Mortdecai star said.

Depp admitted that he doesn't want people to come seem him play guitar simply because they've seen him star in hit films.
