Jon Gosselin has traded his early morning routines with his kids for late night shifts at nightclubs instead. The former reality television star has confirmed that he is indeed working as a DJ now, while his ex-wife Kate continues to raise the family their eight children with limited help.

In a new interview with People Magazine on Thursday, Jon says he loves his new job and that he wouldn't trade it for the world - for now.

He said, "I love it. The hours are great. I get to go out, have a good time with all of my friends, play the music I like to hear and have the day to myself."

What's more, Jon says that he is also taking advantage of his celebrity status again and that he plays about 10-15 DJ gigs a month in Pennsylvania.

As far as what kind of gigs he takes up, Jon says that he avoids weddings at all costs.

He explained, "I've had bad experiences. The brides get pissed. I've been at people's weddings and then their guests start taking pictures of me and it's not good. It's an uncomfortable situation."

Meanwhile, that's not the only change Jon has recently made in his life. The former TLC star is reportedly also looking for a new girlfriend in his life.

According to Star Magazine back in December, Jon is desperate to find a girlfriend and is using Tinder to find the "right woman" in his life.

A source close to the ex-reality star tells the site, "Jon is constantly on his phone, scrolling through Tinder and picking out women to hook up with. Having a girlfriend is a top priority for him."

What's more, it seems as though Jon also wants someone to take care of him the same way his ex-wife Kate did in the past.

The insider added, "He's like a little child and needs a girlfriend who will wait on him hand and foot."
