When it comes to her ex-husband and his new wife, Jennifer Aniston wants to assure everyone that there is absolutely no truth when it comes to all of those supposed "love triangle" rumors about them. The Hollywood actress has called all the gossip fodder about her, Pitt, and Jolie "a made-up story line."

Is Jennifer Aniston Jealous Of Her Brother's Pregnancy News?

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this week, Aniston made a plea to all of the gossip blogs and media outlets to stop dragging on rumors about the trio, which have gone on for almost a decade now.

She said, "You know... it's a made-up triangle. It's a made-up dramatic story line. It's now to the point where all of us - because everybody is happy... everyone's moved on - it feels very silly at a certain point to keep harping on it."

Is Jennifer Aniston Feeling Pressure To Get Pregnant From Her Family?

Aniston added, "If the world only could just stop with the stupid, soap-opera bulls--t."

What's more, Aniston also reveals that her own father, soap opera actor John Aniston, actually discouraged her from joining the show business world when she was first trying to make it as an actress in New York City over three decades ago.

Aniston said, "Don't do it. That was just advice. He was sweetly just trying to protect me... but of course that just gave me the sort of bug to... prove him wrong."

As far as her "Oscar snub" in which she failed to get a Best Actress nomination for her role in the movie Cake, Aniston says that she's already gotten past any feelings of disappointment.

She said, "An Oscar would have been lovely to be there but, you know, it didn't - it passed pretty quickly... then you see, "Ah these are the real things that matter.'"

Cake is playing in theaters nationwide now.
