Her return to L.A. hasn't been going as well as she may have hoped, and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is in for even more shocks as she gets a full grasp of how much things changed during her absence on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke Returns To L.A.

After her altercation with Quinn (Rena Sofer) about what happened between her and Hope, Brooke headed to the Forrester mansion to catch up with her son, Rick (Jacob Young)-only to find Maya (Karla Mosley) standing in the living room wearing nothing but lingerie and to see that Stephanie's portrait had been replaced with one of Maya.

Now, Brooke will confront her son's mistress, because she was unware that Rick and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) had run into major marriage troubles-only to learn the shocking truth about what started everything.

Rick Lashes Out

"Rick's wife was unfaithful," Maya says to Brooke in a preview clip for the Monday, Jan. 26 episode. "With Ridge."

Brooke will not only be shocked, but floored by the news, considering her own history with Ridge, and the fact that when she left, he was still engaged to her sister, Katie (Heather Tom). Learning that he has since started being with Caroline will be even more shocking for her than the news that Ridge and Katie had gotten together had been.

Meanwhile, at Forrester, the drama between Ridge and Rick will be taken up a further notch following Rick witnessing Ridge and Caroline engaged in a full make out session. He potentially fired a gun at the two during his rage-but even if he did not, they will catch him watching them-causing Ridge to demand answers from his brother about what he wants once and for all.

"What is it Rick, you want to be with her or not?" he asks in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
