The couple married six months ago and Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo may be on a different page about when to grow their family.

Contact Music reported on Monday that the newlywed couple isn't quite on the same page about their future children.

The Maroon 5 singer is apparently desperate to have a baby with his new wife, but she thinks she is just too young to start a family.

A source told the website, "She doesn't want to be a mom just yet. She wants to work for a few more years."

Apparently Levine has a differing outlook from the Victoria's Secret model because he has been wanting a child for several years.

"Adam is really upset, but there's nothing that will change her mind. Adam has been whining that he doesn't want to be an old dad. He wants to be a daddy right now," the source said.

Levine allegedly said he wants to have 17 children with Behati.

"I want like, 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much though. I love seeing kids on the set too," he said.

Levine also added: ''Yeah, we're gonna do it at some point in the not-so-distant-slash-undisclosed-slash-I-really-have-no-idea-big-question-mark future.''

They have been dating since May 2012 before they shared their nupitals in front of 300 people.

When they first married, Levine reportedly couldn't stop saying the word "wife," according to Daily Mail. 

"I even changed her number in my phone to wide. I never really thought I would [adore it]. It's so trippy. I'm a child. How did this happen?" Levine joked.
