Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) is set to return to McKinley High as a man in an upcoming episode of Fox's Glee, though this won't be without detractors.

Beiste made her big announcement that she was transgender and going to go about the process of becoming a man. Returning as Sheldon Beiste in the seventh episode of the season, he will receive a warm welcome, though not from everyone. A new detailed plot synopsis for the episode Transitioning has been released, revealing details behind his return.

"A post-op Coach Beiste, who has changed his name to Sheldon, returns to McKinley to receive an uncharacteristically warm but typically over-the-top welcome-back from Sue [Jane Lynch]," the synopsis reads. "While his return has several supporters and a few detractors, it takes a bold move from several old-school gleeks to make him really feel at home again."

It remains to be seen what the kids have planned for Coach Beiste but it will likely be very heartwarming in typical Glee fashion.

Beiste won't be the only person struggling with a transition in this episode. Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) is having difficulties managing Vocal Adrenaline, after word gets out that his glee club has pranked Rachel (Lea Michele) and Blaine (Darren Criss). He attempts to preach tolerance to his club though it mostly falls on deaf ears.

Meanwhile, Rachel is down in the dumps in dealing with her family home being sold, so Sam (Chord Overstreet) enlists the help of others to cheer her up.

This episode is slated to air on Friday, Feb. 13.

Glee airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
