While Regina (Lana Parrilla) is having great difficulty in her quest to find The Author on ABC's Once Upon a Time, Henry (Jared Gilmore) will prove to be invaluable to her quest.

'Once Upon a Time' Showrunners Reveal Theme Of Second Half & What's Safe To Assume About Rumple

Parrilla recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the second half of season 4 in regard to Regina, explaining how she and Henry will work together in their mission to find The Author.

"This is a quest that has been quite difficult for Regina," Parrilla said. "With all the research she's done thus far and Operation Mongoose, she keeps hitting dead end after dead end. She's lost some faith in ever finding this author, but she's still not going to give up. A lot of that positive reenforcement comes from Henry in being the heart of the truest believer, who keeps her afloat and keeps encouraging her to not give up. He plays a huge part in finding clues. They work together and start to find clues leading to the discovery of this author, so that will play out for the remainder of the season."

Fans of Regina and the rest of the main characters on Once Upon a Time should be happy to learn that co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have said that there will be greater focus on these characters in the second half of the season.

While Frozen and the Snow Queen (Elizabeth Mitchell) took up a lot of screen time in the first half of the season, there will be more time dedicated to the characters fans know and love.

Once Upon a Time is slated to return for the second half of season 4 on Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
