The untitled episode (filming as 616) is shaping up to feature plenty of Deeks-centric drama, and executive producer John Peter Kousakis gave fans a new teaser on Friday.

Bartels quickly responded to the announcement, telling Kousakis he liked "the choice of the word 'lies.'"

The LAPD detective has only found himself in major trouble once before - enough to get him fired from the Office of Special Projects - but that incident was merely a fabricated ruse concocted by Hetty. This time, however, the unflappable leader will be at a loss.

"Prep of E616 written by [Andrew Bartels] begins this week," executive producer John Peter Kousakis teased in January. "All I can say...What has Deeks done? Even Hetty is in a quandary. #StayTuned #NCISLA."
