Ryan Reynolds secretly tied the knot to "Gossip Girl" actress Blake Lively on Sunday evening, just two years after called it quits with his first wife Scarlett Johansson.

The two had starred together in "Green Lantern" and have kept their relationship low profile since they began seeing each other last year.  However, they allegedly made it official by exchanging their vows at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

News of the top secret wedding was first revealed by 95.1 FM, a local radio station, who took to Twitter by saying "Hold up, there's another story that it's Ryan Reynolds and he married Blake Lively at the Cotton Docks today!"

Kelly Gukanovich of the respective radio station told E! News, "A few days ago, I heard Ryan was back in town.  Then today, lots of signs went up at Boone Hall Plantation stating that it was holding a private event, so no one could get in the area.  I also started hearing rumors that a celebrity wedding was taking place," she said.

According to People, Lively's mother and sister had arrived in the town for the wedding ceremony, which had a reception in a white tent at the plantation grounds.  The mom and sister had been seen earlier in the week grabbing a bite to eat in town.

It was also reported by the site that British rocker Florence Welch (Florence and the Machine), who is a close friend of Lively's, had performed three live music tracks at the gathering.  The famous Bette Midler allegedly sang as well.

Lively had previously dated her "Gossip Girls" co-star Penn Badgley and also had a brief romance with star Leonardo DiCaprio.

After a short marriage, Reynolds had split with wife Scarlett Johansson in 2010.  He had also been engaged to musician Alanis Morissette from 2004-2007, but they never made it to a wedding.

The couple's representatives were not immediately available for any comments.
