The plot synopsis for the second part of the upcoming two-parter on ABC's Castle has been released, revealing that Castle will be facing off against 3XK (Michael Mosley) and Dr. Kelly Nieman (Annie Wersching).

ABC has released a new plot synopsis for Reckoning, the conclusion of the two-episode event that begins with Resurrection. The synopsis is as follows:

"In the second installment of the Castle two-parter, stakes rise as the 12th Precinct matches wits with serial killers Jerry Tyson (3XK) and Dr. Kelly Nieman. With the clock ticking, Castle and the team must crack the case before the killers claim their next victim."

This episode is slated to air on Monday, Feb. 16 in Castle's regular 10 p.m. timeslot. It is written by Castle creator Andrew W. Marlowe and directed by Rob Bowman.

This arc begins in Resurrection, which airs Feb. 9 and features Dr. Nieman being tied to a new murder.

"When clues in a murder implicate Castle and Beckett's [Stana Katic] nemesis, Dr. Kelly Nieman, Castle is called in to consult on the case," the synopsis for the episode reads. "But as the team delves deeper into the investigation, they uncover connections to notorious serial killer Jerry Tyson."

It remains to be seen if Castle and Beckett will actually catch 3XK and Dr. Nieman this time around or if they will continue to be a threat through further seasons of the show.

Castle airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
