Liberty Ross made a return to the fashion industry for the first time since her husband Rupert Sanders' highly publicized cheating scandal with Kristen Stewart.

Ross, 33, walked the runway for Alexander Wang's Spring 2013 fashion show on Saturday, Sept. 8.

At Wang's after party, Ross was asked how she felt about walking for the designer, "To be honest, I was totally terrified," she told New York magazine's blog The Cut.

"I hadn't actually been out of my house for seven weeks, so I was really anxious," she added. "But it felt amazing."

Wang, 28, was asked why he cast her in his show. "Because I love her and I support her," he told the blog.

It was the first fashion show the model-turned-actress has walked in years. After her husband's affair went public seven weeks ago, she has stepped out several times in August without her wedding ring.

The British brunette walked the runway less than two days after Stewart made her first red carpet appearance since the affair went public.

Kristen was seen gracing the Toronto Film Festival in Canada to promote her new film "On the Road."

At a press junket for the film on Sunday, Sept. 9., Stewart was asked about her and Pattinson: "We're going to be fine," she told reporters. "We're totally fine."

US Weekly published photos of Stewart kissing and in the arms of the "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, cheating on her live-in-boyfriend and "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson.

Ross reportedly told her husband that the only way their marriage could work is if he gave up working with the 22-year-old on the film's sequel.

"Liberty let it be known in no uncertain terms that Rupert can't direct the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman," a source told Radar Online in August.

When Sanders stepped out in public on July 30 following the highly publicized affair, he was wearing his wedding ring. It is rumored that he is still committed to fighting for their seven-year marriage despite the scandal.

The Daily Mail noted that Ross hired a celerity lawyer to take care of the divorce proceedings quickly, so she can have a "clean break" and move back home to the United Kingdom with their two children. However, coinciding reports suggest that though a lawyer has been hired, the couple were in fact photographed together leaving a psychologist's office.
