Things are beginning to look up for the only child of Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was rushed the hospital after being found unconscious in a bathtub over the weekend.

According to TMZ Monday afternoon, the family released another statement.

"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time."

The 21-year-old has made small yet significant improvements within the last day or so. Sources told the site that doctors reported the swelling in her brain has decreased and she has "moved her eyes". On top of that the oxygen in her brain has multiplied by four times since just Sunday. Before then doctors reportedly said there was a possibility she would suffer brain damage because she went without breathing for two to five minutes while she was in the tub.

There has been a few eerie connections to Brown's incident in comparison to her mother, Whitney Houston's shocking and untimely death. Houston was also found unconscious in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills hotel back in 2012. In fact, the third year anniversary of her death is just days away (Feb. 11). Cocaine was also found on the scene.

Many reports have speculated whether Brown's ordeal is drug related, as she was rumored to have suffered similar habits. TMZ also reported Monday that police did in fact find drugs in the home during their second search of the Atlanta home. While they were unable to come across any narcotics the first time, sources said it was different the second time around. Apparently they took on a more detailed search unlike the first round when they were only looking for items "out in the open."
