The San Diego Chargers will play the last NFL game on Monday, Sept. 10, ending Week 1 of the season, against the Oakland Raiders.

The game will air live on ESPN at 10:15 p.m. ET, and live audio stream is available on Sirius XM Radio on channels 94 and 95, and on NFL Audio Pass. Game Rewind provides a replay of every NFL game with a fee and click here to watch online video streaming of the game.

Their most recent games have been close calls - on Jan. 1, 2012, the Chargers won 38-26 and in November of last year the Raiders won 24-17. Both teams also make the top 10 in league rankings for their offensive lineups, according to the official site of the NFL.

Oakland has not posted a winning record or made the playoffs since heading into the Super Bowl at the end of the 2002 season, according to ESPN.

The Chargers have new defensive coordinator, John Pagano, who they hope will help them reach the playoffs, which would be their first in three seasons, the network also reported.

Both teams have also dealt with player issues before coming into the NFL season. Vincent Jackson left San Diego for Tampa Bay so the Chargers will to do without him, adding to their roaster Eddie Royal and Robert Meachem. Ryan Matthews broke his clavicle and Vincent Brown did the same to his ankle, so they are both out for the opening game. However, the Chargers do have the return of Antonio Gates to look forward to.

Raider player Darren McFadden was limited to seven games in 2011 because of a foot injury but if he can stay healthy, Oakland can get some good use out of him on Monday night. Fingers are crossed though because McFadden has not played in all 16 games in any of his NFL campaigns, according to ESPN.
