There's a good reason why Heidi Klum is one of the most successful models and business women in the entertainment world all while she still manages to juggle her career with her family life at home with ease. The super model admits that she sometimes feels like a "control freak" but that the trait helps her organize her life, too.

In an interview with the Daily Mail on Friday, Klum says that she struggles to be spontaneous in her life because she likes to make lists and "stay on top of things."

She said, "I'm quite the control freak, and I like to stay on top of things, so I write a lot of lists too, to make sure I don't forget anything. I make a list before I go to bed, and when I get out of the shower, I even makes lists when I am getting a massage."

She added, "I have to be incredibly organized. All my children have different interests, different friends, so there are play dates, sleepovers, football, karate, dancing."

Klum also explained that when it comes to her four children, which she shares with ex-husband Seal, she always has to stay on top of things in order to avoid having chaos at home.

She said, "There's always a lot of scheduling, and, with my work on top of that, I have to plan everything in advance. Running a tight ship and having a really solid schedule is the only way it works for me. On my computer I have a calendar, and everyone and everything -- my work, each of my kids, holidays -- has a specific color. It looks like a multicolored rainbow of madness, and no one understands how I can make sense of it. But it really works for me."

Aside from modeling, Klum is also a television host on several shows such as Project Runway, Germany's Next Top Model and a judge on America's Got Talent and has several clothing lines which also include her newly-launched lingerie line as well.
