According to the site, Knight was involved in an altercation outside of a Compton restaurant last week. Allegedly, Knight was driving his truck when he ran over two men standing in the parking lot. One of the victims was injured while the other, Terry Carter, 55 died. The driver left the scene.

This isn't Knight's first time being in trouble with the law. The music producer was on bail for a separate robbery case, and now he is being charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two counts of hit-and-run.

In addition to those charges, it is believed that Knight was already facing felony charges while out on bail for another pending case involving the use of fire arms to harm another individual.

Unfortunately this is his third strike, and he could potentially face life in prison if convicted of these charges.

Knight is currently being held without bond, and authorities are still investigating the case, so be sure to check in for more updates.

Knight was the former founder of Death Row Records, the same label that represented rappers Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and the late Tupac Shakur.
