They reported that palace insiders revealed that the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge will be welcoming a baby girl named Diana.

"Kate and William found out they were expecting a girl during the 21-week scan, and since then, everyone's been asking what they plan to name her," the source said.

Although the couple "felt they needed to either go with something very traditional, like Elizabeth or Mary, or something that had a lot of meaning to them. So they've gone with the latter." Diana.

The reasoning behind choosing the name Diana, accoridng to the source, is that the two wanted Diana's legacy of charity work to live on.

"They decided then and there that no matter what anyone said, they were sticking to naming their baby girl after her late grandmother," the source said.

The couple allegedly didn't hesitate to share the news with the Queen, who apparently approves of the decision.

"Having a baby girl who carried her name will be a beautiful reminder of Diana every time he [Prince William] looks at his daughter. She [the Queen] told him that while she knows she had her issues with Diana in the past, she couldn't deny that she was an amazing mother," the source revealed.
