Unfortunately for Kylie Jenner, it doesn't look like she was her brother-in-law's first pick to be in his fashion show on Thursday. There is a new rumor that suggests Kanye West wanted Kendall Jenner to be in his runway show at New York Fashion Week but unfortunately she was booked with another designer, leaving West no choice but to pick her younger sister Kylie to be in the show instead.

According to Page Six on Saturday, Kendall couldn't attend Kanye's adidas Originals x Kanye West show as she agreed to walk in Alexander Wang's fall 2015 presentation instead.

A source told the site, "Kendall made a deal. She has a job to do. If you can't get Kendall, you get Kylie. It was a whole controversial thing."

Another insider though that Kanye wanted Kylie to be there regardless, saying, "Kylie was always his first choice because he didn't want to use Kendall as a 'fit model' because Kylie didn't arrive in New York till a day before the presentation." 

Meanwhile, there have been reports that Kylie is trying to break into the modeling world alongside her sister Kendall.

According to Hollywood Life earlier this month, Kylie doesn't want to be a runway model like her sister, but instead do magazine shoots that are a little more artistic and definitely more eye-catching.

A source close to the reality television star said, "Kylie has never been interested in modeling as she feels like that is Kendall's thing. Still, she will do it from time to time if offered especially if it is artistic and cutting edge. She's not interested in doing the standard fashion magazine shoot."
