TLC series Fat and Back has a disclaimer at the beginning stating that some of the content can be offensive, and apparently it's true as viewers took to Twitter to express their opinions.

After Wednesday's episode of Fat and Back on TLC, viewers were offended and upset with star of the show Katie Hopkins.

Hopkins is appearing on the TLC network as an semi underweight individual who is "disgusted" by fat people. She is using her airtime as a way to "prove" that fat people choose to be fat.

This didn't seem to bode well with viewers who instantly spoke out on the body and fat shaming that Hopkins was doing. She is determined to gain 4 stone, or 56 pounds, and then lose it all to "prove her point" that anyone can lose weight if they really want to.

It started with a tweet from Twitter user, Katy Abram who said: "watching #FatAndBack on TLC. What a horrible woman #SoJudgemental."

Another one appeared outraged because Hopkins seemed to act like fat people had some kind of control over her life.

"Some people have health problems that prevent them from losing weight... Are they hurting you? No? Stop talking. #FatAndBack," Twitter user Amber Kelly wrote.

Others were upset because she at one point said she "hates fat people for making her do this."

"Okay holds up this lady shouldn't blame other's but herself your doing all this bcuz YOU want to NOT bcuz others are making u #fatandback," Stephanie(Rosie) wrote.
