Even though Cynthia's part in the scene was pretty brief, it appears that her relevance will definitely be worth watching. In a previous interview with What's On TV, actress Byrony Hannah (Cynthia) dished on her character's return and her decision to become a nun.

"When she comes back, you see she's very happy with her decision and really at one with herself for the first time," the actress said. "Cynthia is on a voyage of self-discovery. She's grown in confidence and grown into herself as a woman."

Call the Midwife Season 4 is expected to air in the United States this March on PBS.
