It looks like there is a good reason why Jennifer Lopez has been spotted spending so much time with her ex-boyfriend Casper Smart lately. There's a new report that says the ex-couple will be headed to court together as one of her neighbors is suing them after one of Smart's dogs "terrorized" her.

According to TMZ on Monday, neighbor Andrea Ashley says that she was bitten by one of Smart's dogs near Lopez's mansion last year. She says she got out of her car back in December when a boxer named Bear attacked her left arm and hand, leaving her with broken bones and cuts. TMZ has photos of the graphic images.

What's more, Smart apparently called her to apologize and offered to pay her medical bills, but it looks like Ashley isn't settled with the offer. She adds that she is suing Lopez because the dog escaped from her fence.

So far, neither Lopez nor Smart have made any public comments about the case.

According to TMZ earlier this month, the ex-lovers were spotted out and about in Los Angeles. Smart was at the Z Zegna & GQ event in Hollywood, where he hung out with Nick Jonas. Sources say that Lopez was quietly waiting in a car outside of the event for him, while trying to keep things on the down low.

Eyewitnesses further say that Lopez and Smart then went to Hotel Café in Hollywood, where they were caught by the paparazzi.

Just last month, there were also rumors floating around that Lopez was hooking up with her The Boy Next Door co-star Ryan Guzman.

According to Page Six in January, Lopez and Guzman were sitting rather closely together on a couch during an after party following the Golden Globes ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday.
