The shocking news that Meri and Kody Brown divorced and Robyn became the sole legal wife has still been causing shock waves throughout the Sister Wives fan base, and though fans are starting to see some glimpses into what may have spurred the decision, they still want to know exactly why things have gone the way they did.

3 Reasons Kody & Meri May Have Divorced

And while the exact reasons have not been revealed yet, Meri has taken to Twitter to remind fans that they will learn what exactly happened, and why things went down the way they did, when the show airs its season finale in two weeks-and she is also taking time to make sure that those who truly support and love her and her family are allowing them to tell the story-and not the media.

"Can I just say tabloid? Or media? Come on, you guys have got to be smarter than that! ;-) Watch my REAL reason on March 1. #SisterWives," she tweeted Feb. 16.

Kody, Meri & Robyn Talk Divorce On Social Media

Fans began to wonder even more why a divorce was suggested after watching a special two hours of episodes on Feb. 15, which featured one new episode, and a second which looked back on Meri's journey with the family-and touched upon some of the more sensitive topics in hers and Kody's marriage, like their inability to conceive another child after Mariah.

Both Kody and Meri took to Twitter during the episode to talk about it-and Meri even went so far as to praise Robyn for her one time offer of being a surrogate for Meri so she and Kody could have another child.

"Even though I didn't take her up on it, giving up her body for 9 months of her life was a beautiful gift! @LuvgvsUwngs #SisterWives," she wrote, before later adding, "Listen to the conversation here. Neither @realkodybrown or I were feeling strong to have a baby. Not that time of our lives."

Kody also talked about the situation as well, admitting that he has regrets he and Meri were never able to have a second child together.

"So proud of @mariahlian! She is reliable & considerate. She was so cute to. Wish @MeriBrown1 & I could have had more. #SisterWives," he wrote.

The season finale of Sister Wives-with a special tell-all devoted to telling the truth about the divorce situation and resulting drama-will air on Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. on TLC.
