Andy Cohen has assured fans on Twitter that Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi will not be a part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season seven.

Last week, reports claimed the former Jersey Shore star was hoping to make a reality TV return in the Jersey-based franchise of the Real Housewives. On Twitter, creator Cohen shot down any such news.

After a fan tweeted to Cohen, saying, "If @snooki joins #RHONJ im out foreal, f**k that s**t @Andy @Bravotv," Cohen responded, tweeting, "She ain't joining." Polizzi also weighed in, writing, "You can say that again."

Polizzi has been in the spotlight since she announced, "The party is here," on Jersey Shore's first episode in 2009. Since then, she has appeared on series including WWE Raw, Dancing With The Stars and her and Jenni "JWoww" Farley's spinoff series, Snooki & JWoww.

At the end of last week, a source alleged to Life & Style that Polizzi was hoping to come aboard The Real Housewives of New Jersey for the series' upcoming installment.

“[Snooki’s] trying to get on the show!” the insider claimed. “It would be a perfect fit for her. [Members of] the Jersey Shore audience are now becoming housewives themselves.”

In a separate tweet on Thursday, Polizzi confirmed there was no truth to Life & Style's report.

"I'm NOT trying to get on nj housewives like magazines are stating," she told fans.
