New Female Character Coming On 'NCIS: LA', What's In Store For Episode 20?

The partner's newly minted workplace romance will experience its first major hiccup during "Expiration Date." Densi will have a bit of a spat, but writer Dave Kalstein believes the upcoming argument will be the couple's "best" scene.

"Editing NCISLA episode 614," Kalstein tweeted in early February. "Best fight scene ever. Best guest cast ever. Best Densi scene ever. But is "best" a metaphor?"

A new promo for next Monday's episode indicates that Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will think she and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) are moving a little too fast, despite their "All In" proclamation. Even with a storm cloud following them into the office, the LAPD detective and NCIS agent will attempt to keep their work professional - they will need to keep their wits about them when Sam gets shot, after all.

"Everybody's kind of waiting to see if our work is jeopardized by the success of the relationship," Olsen said, according to TV Guide. "Now you have two characters that are obviously meant to be together, together under the most dynamic and terrifying of circumstances. When things go wrong, is it going to be the fault of that relationship?"
