The 30-second preview (feature below) brings to life the show's latest photo shoot, with images of the cast lounging during an afternoon lawn party.

Set to the Diana Ross song Love Hangover, everything from the trailer's tone to the bold fashion statements show that times are certainly changing on the series. The fact that the Ross tune is from the mid-70s has many fans guessing that the show will end in 1975 or 1976, which is certainly possible based on the trailer's aesthetic.

Side by side clips showed Pete (Vincent Kartheiser) checking out Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) and Don (Jon Hamm) looking warily into the distance beside his wife Megan (Jessica), who was dressed in a light pink getup with big sleeves and lots of exposed skin.

Then there was Roger (John Slattery), just enjoying a good drink while reclining in a lawn chair.

The final sequence showed Don outside returning to the party before the show's classic black and white poster comes on screen to announce the date.

While the trailer didn't offer much in terms of spoilers, there was plenty for committed fans to dissect in terms of subtext. It also offered up a strong 1970s vibe, which will go a long way as the series moves into a new decade.

Mad Men will return on AMC for the remainder of its seventh and final season on Sunday, April 5.
