He has lost Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) help in his quest to take over Forrester Creations, but Liam (Scott Clifton) isn't giving up on his plot to take Rick (Jacob Young) down on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Eric Makes A Shocking Decision

Now, instead of focusing on his ex-wife, he will turn his attentions to his ex-father-in-law, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), as he continues trying to get enough shares so he can overthrow Rick as CEO and help everyone at Forrester feel safe from his reign once more.

Firs though, he will have to explain that he has since changed his position on Ridge dating his cousin, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey)-something that was initially frowned upon.

Steffy Tries Convincing Liam To See Things Her Way

"I had a little issue with you and Caroline at first, but given the way Rick's been treating her lately, I sure changed my mind," he says to Ridge in a preview clip for the Tuesday, Feb. 24 episode.

And though Ridge won't give Liam an answer right away, he may consider teaming up with him, as he is eager to see his little brother's fall from grace-even more so after he got away with shooting a gun at him and Caroline. Now, he is hopeful something will eventually cause Rick and Maya's (Karla Mosley) downfall sooner rather than later after they managed to convince everyone but him that they were going to change how they ran things.

"Man, I can't wait for the day," Ridge says to Rick in the clip.

"What day is that?" Rick asks.

"The day when you and Maya fall off the mountain you're perched on," Ridge replies.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
