With the release of Season 3 of House of Cards right around the corner, we might get the answer to a looming question in two days: is this going to be the final chapter in the series?

Frank Underwood Pisses On His Father's Grave In First Episode?

There has been heavy speculation about if this season will conclude the show, as the British orginal it is based on only had three chapters. While it is true that House of Cards is too successful and popular to have such a brief run, what we gather from the trailer teasers of the series seem to suggest that this is the end of the line for Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey). Also, in the original series Claire (Robin Wright) murders Frank, and of the recent promotional clips for the season it seems like first lady is on the warpath when it come to the president, and reviles him.

We also see Frank unravelling as he finally meets his match, someone who will probably give him a taste of his own medicine. It does seem to hint a the dark end for the series.

Claire Underwood To Have A Secret Affair In Season 3 Of House of Cards

In an interview, Mozhan Marno, who plays Ayla Sayyad in House of Cards, dished about what fans can expect from season 3 of the Netflix drama.

Entertainment Weekly caught up with the actress at the SAG Award this weekend. While Marno didn't reveal much she did amp up the excitement by stating that the finale of this chapter will take it up a notch.

"I think that, if it's possible, the end of [this] season is even more surprising than the last," she said.

This could be interpreted two ways, either this could mean that there will be an incredible cliffhanger, or it could mean that fans will be stunned by Frank's death.

The third season will premiere on February 27.
