Now that Erica Mena has announced her engagement to Bow Wow on VH1's Love & Hip Hop New York, she has no problem sharing her love for him to her co-stars; now she's told Rashidah when the rapper knew he was in love with her.

In a bonus clip of the show released by the network Monday, Mena gushed to Rashidah about her new love.

"I have something to tell you," Mena said.

It didn't take long for Rashidah to notice the rock Mena's hand.

"What is this?" she asked.

She shared their love story and said they rekindled a romance shortly after she co-hosted an episode of BET's 106 & Park with him.

"The whole thing happened with me and him kissing. It got me in trouble and it got him in trouble."

She revealed that Bow Wow (real name Shad Moss) told her, "that was the moment" he knew she was the one. Still, Mena said she didn't "notice" any sparks because she was still dealing with the drama in her relationship with then girlfriend Cyn Santana.

Rashidah's first concern was whether Bow Wow was just a "rebound thing" to get over her messy split with Santana.

Mena confirmed, "No...It's far from a rebound. All he wants to do is love me and vice versa. There's no strings attached. It's just him accepting me, I'm accepting him. It just so happens that we've been friends for so long we have history."

Mena did say her reluctancy was introducing her future husband to her son, King; only because she had never brought a man around the child before.

Rashidah said it "has to happen sooner or later."
