The Blind Date teams are so far showing up the already dating couples on season 26 of The Amazing Race, but there could be a comeback on the season's second episode.

Teams Get A Big Shock On The First Leg

In a sneak peek clip for the Friday, Feb. 27 episode, I Got The Smartest Dude, the teams continue racing through Tokyo as they try to navigate not only the race, but the tricky world of successfully having a relationship while doing it.

And, as one of the detour options, things could be brought to a new level within the competition as teams are forced to get cozy and possibly a little romantic in an effort to complete their task-which involved having to feed one another entire bowls of noodles.

Tyler Hopes He & Blind Date Laura Win The $1 Million

In the clip, New Kids on the Block singer Jonathon Knight and his boyfriend, Harley Rodriguez, compete head to head during the detour with blind date couple Bergen and Kurt-and each one takes to the task in a different way.

"I'll catch it," Bergen says as Kurt moves to feed him using chopsticks-as a fan blows next to them and threatens to let the noodles drop somewhere other than Bergen's mouth.

As a result, Bergen leans in closer to Kurt and dips his head low, almost to the table they share, to make it easier for Kurt to feed him.

And while they try to maneuver through the task with precision, Jonathon and Harley take it with a more relaxed approach-similar to what might be expected by two people who have been together as long as they have.

"How much are you loving this?" Harley asks Jonathon in the clip. "Because I'm so hungry!"

However, Bergen and Kurt continue to have fun with the task as well, as they potentially begin forming a real relationship of their own.

"I'll let you go under and I'll put it in," Bergen says as he feeds Kurt, laughing while he completes the task.

The Amazing Race airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
