Some of the characters on Downton Abbey are going on a shooting trip, but it may not turn out to be all fun and games.

Is 'Downton Abbey' Going To End After Season 6?

On Friday, People posted a sneak peek of the season finale that airs this Sunday. Lord Grantham will go on a little voyage with Lady Mary and her father-in-law Lord Sinderby where it appears that their trip will be a worthy memory.

As Violet and Isobel wave good-bye, they express concern while adding in some humor. Violet points out that Sinderby heading off on this trip with Branson and the others doesn't strike a lot of hope for a successful time away especially with guns involved.

"Makes you wonder what they'll be shooting at by the end of it," Isobel jokes.

The two ladies giggle this out, but their assumptions may turn out to be correct. This group could easily end in misery depending on how well they're willing to get along with each other.

There is still the whole matter of Sinderby not being happy about the split with Rose's parents although Mary will try to convince him to accept it for what it is. In another sneak peek posted below, she does what she can, but the man just can't be told otherwise.

Meanwhile, Lady Sinderby teams up with Tom where things seem a bit more pleasant between them.
