Keith Urban is the first to admit he'd be lost without his wife Nicole Kidman.

A Look At Keith Urban's Accent

"I have a lot of people who help me…starting with my wife, who is extraordinary at keeping everything sort of scheduled and balanced," declared the Somewhere In My Car singer to People on Monday.

Urban explained that someone had told him that "if your marriage isn't your priority, you're not married" and he holds this fact to keep true. "As long as I keep her as a priority," said the singer of his wife. "Everything else seems to work. And when I don't keep it as a priority, it's…Jenga."

Keith Urban Dishes On 'Enlightening' New Album

Though neither star is originally from the United States, Urban and Kidman met in Los Angeles nearly a decade ago and hit it off right away. They fell madly in love, married and started a family. Kidman carried their first child on her own, while the second was born via a surrogate.

The stars have been together ever since, often touring together and making as much room for family time as possible with their busy careers. When Kidman has to attend a movie premiere she brings Urban along and the pair pal around on the red carpet. When Urban is set to play a show halfway across the country Kidman packs up their girls and tags along.

When they're not out on the road, Urban and Kidman live in Nashville together with their two daughters, six-year-old Sunday Rose and four-year-old Faith Margaret.
