On Friday, Daily Mail reported that Prince Charles is upset over how little he gets to see the future King.

He is also reportedly questioning the role he plays in Prince George's life.

Prince Charles is apparently frustrated by the amount of time baby George spends with the Middleton relatives, but there is also a "definite feeling" that Kate Middleton's parents could be thinking of buying a place in Norfolk, which is where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will soon be living full-time.

Being so close to Carole Middleton means plenty of time to spend with the family, but Prince Charles is worried about seeing even less of him and not being able to "mentor" him.

A few days before George was born, Prince Charles was reportedly trying to get tips for being a grandfather from a ladies' circle in Wales.

"Spoil them and enjoy them - but give them back at the end of the day," one told him.

It's theorized that Prince Charles just wants to be the grandfather that he never had. He was only three when George VI died.

Prince Charles has reportedly always known that Kate's mother had a great pull on her and could get her to spend more time with them. One aide said, "Of course, he acknowledges that the mother-daughter thing is natural, and he's aware it's likely to be just the same when the new baby arrives."
