In the interview, Conrad, who starred for six years on The Hills, claimed she never saw herself getting married -- until she met her now-husband, attorney William Tell.

“[I was] never a person who was obsessed with the idea of marriage,” Conrad explained to the magazine for their April 2015 issue. In fact, she said Tell was “the first person I ever thought I could marry.”

During her reality TV run, which, in addition to The Hills, included a starring role on Laguna Beach, Conrad was linked to a number of men, including Stephen Colletti, Brody Jenner, Jason Wahler, Doug Reinhardt, and Kyle Howard. Then, in 2012, Conrad was set up on a blind date with Tell, whom she went on to marry in September of last year.

Also in her interview with Redbook, Conrad addressed her successful career in fashion, revealing it was those who treated her kindly whom she gave the most respect.

"Over the last few years I've been able to work with several women who I really respected because they didn't take on that role of being a b***h,” she said. “They were strong, but they were kind and they didn't need to shout to be heard. A lot of women feel like they need to be tough in order to be taken seriously. We have this idea that kindness is weakness, which I don't think is true."
